FAMILY THERAPIST/ PSYCHOTHERAPIST 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this innovative project led by Polish Psychologists’ Association (PPA) in the competition for the public task: “Cooperation with Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad in 2014”.
This project is focused on supporting Polish families in receiving help from social services by providing psychological support alongside support from the social worker and a legal team. This project also includes educational sessions for parents and teachers at Polish Saturday school in the area of child development and behavior challenges, as well as bilingualism.

PPA is a charitable organization, providing psychological support for the Polish community and is seeking to appoint an energetic and creative individual as a Family therapist / psychotherapist for the Family Support Centre (FSC).

The candidate will work in our Family Support Centre providing assessment and treatment for children and adolescents aged 0-18 and their families with complex problems and family difficulties. The work will be both in English and Polish.

To be considered to this role, you must be a qualified Family therapist / psychotherapist with experience in working within similar service with CYP and their families. This is an initial assignment, available immediately, covering part time hours and an on-call rota. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in partnership with community services. The team will offer a holistic package of assessment and therapeutic follow up.
PSYCHOLOGIST (Bank Staff)

To be considered to this role, you must have HCPC registration (ideally as a Clinical and/or Counselling Psychologist) and will have experience in working within similar service with CYP and their families.
